Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL and Excel, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Utilize SQL and Excel to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for business insights.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and track outcomes.
• Prepare clear documentation and present findings to stakeholders at various levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
