Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Support Manager to lead our customer support department. The Customer Support Manager will be responsible for driving superior customer support to business clients through effective policies, procedures, and goal setting. You will stay current on industry products and trends, and ensure your team is trained accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the customer support department.
  • Respond to escalated customer support issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Implement and refine customer support processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, revise, and promote customer support policies.
  • Keep the team informed of new information related to products, procedures, and industry trends.
  • Analyze support statistics and prepare detailed reports on findings.
  • Interview, hire, and onboard new employees.
  • Oversee and evaluate ongoing training efforts for the team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage the disciplinary process in accordance with company policy.
  • Manage the customer support department’s budget.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proven experience as a customer support specialist, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of legislation pertaining to consumer protection.
  • Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role is advantageous.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong arbitration skills with the ability to remain impartial.
  • Ability to multitask with precision and manage competing priorities.
  • Openness to constructive criticism and a commitment to continuous improvement.
