Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in New Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our AI-driven recruiting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Document data workflows, architecture, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi).
  • Hands-on experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Strong understanding of database systems (relational and NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience with machine learning pipelines and MLOps.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
