Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chelsea, Manhattan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our AI-driven recruiting platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, optimize data workflows, and enable advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build and optimize data architectures for large-scale data processing.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data sources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Document data processes and workflows for transparency and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data warehousing solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis).
- Knowledge of data modeling and data governance best practices.
- Exposure to machine learning pipelines and AI-driven applications.
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite in Chelsea, Manhattan, NY.
Compensation:
$120,000 – $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
