We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Inside Sales for our plastic injection molding division. This is a unique opportunity to join our team of innovative professionals in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and directing all inside sales activities, ensuring high-level customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of the plastic injection molding process, and a strong background in account management and customer service.
Responsibilities:
As the Director of Inside Sales, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Directing and overseeing all inside sales functions to ensure achievement of company sales objectives. 2. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. 3. Managing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. 4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies. 5. Providing leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization’s inside sales function. 6. Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the plastic injection molding industry. 7. Developing and implementing effective sales training programs for the inside sales team. 8. Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. 9. Reviewing and adjusting sales territories, quotas, and goals as necessary. 10. Participating in key customer, supplier, and internal meetings as the sales lead.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Permanent Director of Inside Sales, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role within plastic injection molding. 2. Proven experience in program and account management. 3. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships. 4. Strong understanding of plastic injection molding processes and the contract manufacturing industry. 5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing sales team. 6. Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics. 9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 10. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
