Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on Python-based data processing, cloud-native data services, and delivering reliable, analytics-ready datasets.

 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL / ELT data pipelines using Python
• Build and optimize data workflows on GCP
• Ingest data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, streaming systems)
• Transform and load data into BigQuery for analytics and reporting
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
• Optimize pipeline execution time and cloud costs
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams
• Implement monitoring, logging, and error handling for pipelines
• Maintain documentation and follow data engineering best practices

Required Technical Skills

Programming & Querying

• Strong Python (pandas, PySpark preferred)
• Advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions, optimization)

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• BigQuery (data modeling, performance tuning)
• Cloud Storage (GCS)
• Dataflow or Dataproc
• Cloud Functions / Cloud Run (basic)
• IAM & GCP basics
