About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, SQL Server, and cloud technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for technical design, development, performance optimization, code reviews, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core.
• Design efficient database schemas, queries, stored procedures, and indexes using SQL Server.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-performance code.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
• Implement secure coding practices and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Work with messaging systems, caching, and distributed systems where required.
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain good test coverage.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in .NET/C# development.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET 6/7/8+ or modern .NET versions.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, including complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience building REST APIs and distributed applications.
• Good understanding of Entity Framework Core / ORM technologies.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have

• Experience with Azure or AWS.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with observability tools, logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, or other frontend technologies.
• Experience working on high-scale, high-availability applications.

Qualifications
