Junior Software Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies. You will work closely with senior developers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and technical issues.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA engineers, and other team members.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
• Assist in developing and integrating APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute ideas for improving applications and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in software development; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, or .NET.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Internship, academic, or personal software development projects.
