The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery of FAA/EASA certification processes, safety management systems (SMS), and technical documentation for aerospace hardware. This role is critical in ensuring our products and processes meet all applicable aviation compliance standards.**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead the preparation, submission, and management of regulatory filings in accordance with FAA and EASA requirements.- Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation to support aerospace hardware certification.- Implement and oversee Safety Management Systems (SMS) to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, negotiating and advocating for company interests.- Translate complex technical data into clear, compliant regulatory submissions and communications.- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update internal processes to maintain compliance.- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and product teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.**Required Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, or a related technical field.- Proven experience in regulatory affairs, aviation compliance, or systems engineering within the aerospace sector.- Mastery of FAA/EASA certification frameworks and safety management systems (SMS).- Strong technical writing skills and experience with aerospace hardware documentation.- Demonstrated ability to negotiate strategically with government agencies and regulatory bodies.- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into regulatory language.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Advanced degree or certifications in regulatory affairs or aerospace engineering.- Experience working with international regulatory agencies.- Familiarity with emerging aerospace technologies and digital compliance tools.**Soft Skills:**- Strategic negotiation and advocacy.- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.- Collaborative mindset and adaptability.- Attention to detail and organizational skills.**Benefits:**- Competitive compensation and benefits package.- Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.- Inclusive, innovative, and supportive work environment.
