Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and drive continuous improvement in our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Manage network hardware and software upgrades, patches, and backups.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to support new projects and initiatives.
• Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in network engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices.
• Experience with network security tools and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are preferred.
