Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Install, support, and manage network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce network security protocols and best practices.
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Experience with network security practices and tools.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, VMware, and Windows Server environments.
• Strong experience in Redshift.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Security+.
• Experience with data center management and cloud networking.
• Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for network management.
