Position Summary

As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications. You will work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements, design scalable database architectures, and construct robust APIs. A successful candidate has a deep understanding of Python frameworks, writes testable and clean code, and thrives in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Development: Write clean, efficient, reusable, and scalable backend code using Python.
• API Design: Design, implement, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• System Integration: Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with server-side logic.
• Database Management: Connect applications to relational and NoSQL databases, optimizing schemas for data protection and speed.
• Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve responsiveness and reduce latency.
• Testing & Security: Implement automated unit tests, enforce authentication workflows, and deploy data protection measures.

Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, product managers, and devops engineers to ship high-impact features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Python Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Python and its core multi-process and threading architectures.
• Web Frameworks: Hands-on experience with at least one major Python framework (e.g., Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Database Systems: Strong proficiency in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Web Technologies: Basic understanding of front-end tech stack elements like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Version Control: Competency using Git and collaborating via GitHub or GitLab platforms.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure services and containerization tools like Docker.
• Data Processing: Familiarity with data pipelines, Celery tasks, or libraries like Pandas and NumPy.

CI/CD: Experience setting up automated test runners and continuous integration deployment workflows.
