Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in QA and automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience testing AI or machine learning applications.
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
