QA Engineer - API & Performance Testing

We are looking for a QA Engineer specializing in API and performance testing to strengthen the reliability of our backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute API test suites using REST Assured and Java.
• - Build performance and load test scenarios using JMeter.
• - Validate backend data integrity using SQL queries.
• - Integrate automated test suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• - Document test results and collaborate with backend engineers on fixes.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of QA experience with a focus on API testing.
• - Strong experience with REST Assured and Java.
• - Performance testing experience using JMeter.
• - Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
• - Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.

Pay Range: USD 80,000-100,000 annually.

Location: Chicago, IL, USA.

Work Type: Hybrid. Employment Type: Contract.

Experience: 0-6 years.

Working Days: Monday-Friday. Working Hours: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM CST.
