This role plays a critical part in creating technologies like medical imaging devices, high-resolution cameras, microscopes, telescopes, and vision-based sensors. Working at the intersection of optics, electronics, and software, optical imaging engineers apply physics and engineering principles to optimize image quality, sensor performance, and system integration.
