Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for technology, and the drive to build scalable, high-quality solutions. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days per week available for remote work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software engineering.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

- 2+ years of professional experience in software development.

- Proficiency in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Java, Python, SQL.

- Experience with modern frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Node.js, Spring, Django).

- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and tools.

- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Machine Learning, Scrum Master).

- Prior experience in the HR tech or SaaS industry.
