The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.Key Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.- Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.- Implement and enforce network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and integrate new technologies.- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and best practices.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 2+ years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).- Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).- Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools.- Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments.- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or similar) is a plus.- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Skills:- Experience with VoIP, VPN, and wireless networking.- Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell).- Exposure to security frameworks and compliance standards.Benefits:- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.- 401(k) retirement plan with company match.- Generous paid time off and holidays.- Professional development and certification support.- Flexible work environment and opportunities for remote work.
