Job Summary:

The Buyer will ensure program requirements are prioritized and executed to meet organizational needs. This role requires expertise in Supply Chain compliance standards, strong communication skills, and experience in procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and strategic negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quote (RFQ)
• Perform cost analysis to support procurement proposals and develop negotiation strategies
• Construct various contracting types for major procurement activities, including long-range procurement agreements and sourcing partnerships
• Manage the procurement process from requisition creation through final payment of invoices
• Lead supplier management efforts, including the identification, implementation, negotiation, and execution of strategic agreements
• Support the procurement organization’s strategic direction to achieve corporate objectives, ensuring timely delivery of production materials

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Business Administration, Management, or Supply Chain Management
• Demonstrated experience with RFP/RFQ processes and cost analysis
• Strong influencing, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Proven problem-solving and process development skills

Additional Information:

• Passion for safe human spaceflight is required
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
