**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic fintech team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, a passion for building scalable systems, and experience working in the fintech sector.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs for fintech applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

- Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability and security.

- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues as they arise.

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend engineering.

- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or similar.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development.

- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Prior experience in the fintech industry is highly preferred.
