**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our fintech team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, a passion for building scalable systems, and experience working in the financial technology sector.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs for fintech applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend services.

- Implement security and data protection best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development.

- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go).

- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.

- Experience in the fintech industry or with financial systems is highly preferred.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of security and compliance standards in fintech.
