**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our fintech engineering team. The ideal candidate is passionate about backend development, scalable systems, and building secure, high-performance financial applications.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs for fintech applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions.

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.

- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and best-practice initiatives.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend and system-level issues.

**Required Qualifications**

- Minimum 5 years of experience in backend engineering.

- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, or similar backend languages.

- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Fintech domain experience is highly preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
