The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.Key Responsibilities:- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.- Implement network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support business operations and new projects.- Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.- Perform regular network upgrades and maintenance.- Respond to network outages and provide timely resolutions.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).- Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points).- Familiarity with network security best practices.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).- Knowledge of scripting or automation tools for network management.Work Environment: This position is based in Colorado, USA.
