**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of auditing standards, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Plan, execute, and report on operational, financial, and compliance audits.

- Assess internal controls and identify areas for process improvement.

- Develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives.

- Prepare clear and concise audit documentation and reports.

- Collaborate with management to develop practical solutions for identified issues.

- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.

- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- CPA, CIA, or other relevant certification preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in audit management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
