Job Title: Electrical Engineering Professional Senior (PE Licensed)Duration: Direct HireLocation: Hybrid – Fort Worth, TX (Minimum 2 days onsite; office or client site required)Shift: 1st Shift | Standard business hoursOur client is seeking a senior-level Electrical Engineering Professional to support utility and power sector projects within the Energy & Power Solutions group. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with extensive experience in power and utility infrastructure, comfortable leading design efforts, advising clients, mentoring engineers, and supporting business growth initiatives in a fast-paced consulting environment.Key Responsibilities:- Lead electrical engineering design and advisory work for utility and power infrastructure projects- Develop concept-level plans and carry solutions through detailed design and execution- Engage directly with clients to assess energy needs and recommend technical solutions- Support energy resiliency, grid modernization, and decarbonization initiatives- Prepare scopes of work, engineering hour estimates, and proposal inputs- Collaborate with sales and account teams on strategic pursuits and business development efforts- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level electrical engineers- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end project lifecycle services- Contribute to project planning, design reviews, and technical decision-making- Support project execution and client reporting while ensuring quality and complianceRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or related discipline- 10+ years of electrical engineering design and/or consulting experience- Majority of experience in utility and power projects- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state (or ability to obtain within one year)- Proven experience engaging clients and delivering technical solutions- Experience supporting proposals, scope development, and project execution planning- Strong technical writing and communication skills- Experience mentoring or leading technical staff- Willingness to work hybrid in Fort Worth, TX (minimum 2 days onsite)- U.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications:- Experience with power distribution systems and microgrids- Experience with power generation projects over 10MW- HV or MV substation design experience- Renewable energy project experience (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal)- Energy storage system project experience- Power system modeling using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or similar software- Protection & Control, SCADA, or power system automation experience- Campus utility master planning or decarbonization planning- Cogeneration or combined heat and power systems experience- Thermal utility plants and distribution systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)Company Culture & Benefits:Our client fosters a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment.
