Core Responsibilities:
- Collect, maintain, and organize all financial records for easy accessibility and readability.
- Retain and reconcile all trade invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure payments are processed within stipulated timelines and in accordance with Performa invoices.
- Safeguard all financial documents and ensure secure access for authorized stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and provide accurate financial forecasts to top management.
- Collaborate with various departments to reconcile expense sheets regularly.
- Analyze and recommend cost reduction strategies at individual, team, and departmental levels.
- Update and maintain the company’s balance sheet, reflecting changes in financial position as needed.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Purchase Orders, terms, and conditions; advise on payment terms and ensure departmental alignment.
- Manage credit and debit notes for trade partners, ensuring compliance with company cash flow guidelines.
- Accurately present the company’s financial health, particularly cash flow, to management.
- Report and flag changes in manpower, infrastructure projects, and administrative expenses to management promptly.
- For new product development projects, prepare cost sheets and P&L statements to provide clear insights on gross margins, net margins, and operating profits.
- Track and account for raw material and packaging material costs.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and SAP.
- In-depth understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced financial modeling skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Communication and Presentation Skills:
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Excellent task prioritization and problem-solving skills under time constraints.
- Strong analytical skills for quick and effective decision-making.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or CPM certification is a plus.
