Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with at least 10 years of experience to oversee and manage construction projects in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
OSHA certification or equivalent is preferred.
