About the Role
We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, project management, and a passion for creating sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects.
- Develop detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and regulations.
- Prepare and present design proposals and reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch preferred).
- Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure (LEED certification is a plus).
- 5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with sustainable design and LEED projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design and technical expertise.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and 3D modeling.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
