Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Truck Driver to join our team in Georgia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, adhering to all federal and state regulations. This role requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations within Georgia and surrounding regions.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo while maintaining compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Secure cargo for transport and ensure proper handling of goods.
• Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL); CDL-A or CDL-B preferred.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle long hours or overnight routes if required.
• Previous experience as a truck driver is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with local, regional, or long-haul routes.
• Additional endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, etc.) are a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
