Goad Springs Road Benton County, Lowell, AR 72745 Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Qualifications: High volume lab, work independently as well as on a team, strong performance management, ability to work with others in a fast-paced environment etc. These particular roles require no experience and we will train. We just need the people to be willing to work hard, prepared to learn and be a good team player. Optical Lab : Mechanical testing for optical samples. Tools/Furniture: Test preparation / setup Toy Team: Mechanical testing for toy samples Responsibilities: The laboratory assistant works with our senior staff to process lab samples, perform tests, and record and analyze results. Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests. Performs tests using general laboratory equipment. Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area. Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software. As directed follows defined test plans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results. Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results. Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions. As instructed examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case. Communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation. Operates designated laboratory equipment and tools as directed. Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets. Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems. Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
