Position Title: Material Handler I Work Location: 10210 Genetic Center Drive, San Diego, CA 92121 Assignment Duration: 12 months Work Schedule: 1st shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: Pull, stage, verify, and compare outgoing inventory against system-generated pick lists, customer sales orders, and purchase orders; perform all related computer transactions, including product returns. Key Responsibilities: Pull, stage, verify, and compare outgoing inventory against system-generated pick lists, customer sales orders, and purchase orders; perform all related computer transactions, including product returns. Pre-stage and accurately transfer raw materials, WIP, and other production materials into, within, and out of storage areas to support production and internal customers. Perform daily cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate quality and inventory records. Receive all incoming materials and packages (including FedEx and UPS) in a timely and accurate manner and deliver them throughout the facility as required. Collaborate and communicate professionally with Planning, Production, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and other departments to support smooth business operations. Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds. Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively, including manual and motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, and electric carts. Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage and work areas in compliance with all safety guidelines and PPE requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned.
