Pay Rate: $25.00/hrLocation: SomersetDuration: 6 months possibility to extendShift: Onsite - FIRST SHIFT 6AM-2:30PMEducation: High School Diploma or GED EquivalencyForklift experience requiredAbility to handle heavy materials, including drums (lifting requirement of up to 60 lbs.)Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPossesses strong commitment to team environment dynamics.Top 3 skills:Assist with replenishing Raw materialsGrabbing Materials for Compounders and packers using a forkliftUsing RFT Scanner to locate materials in SAPYES - Physical Fit Testing Required:Sterling -dsm-firmenich simply order the exams via the Sterling platform. The pending new hire will enter their zip code and then select a clinic convenient to them. Sometimes they go to a Lab Corp or Quest for the drug screen, they may use a Concentra or a City MD or a completely different clinicEssential Responsibilities and Functions:Moves and stages full drums, totes, and pallet loads of materials to compounders in production as needed.Removes empty drums and empty totes from production and drop areas and places in recycling area.Maintains high use raw material stations, including hot room, powder area, dispensing drum area, manual pour raw material areas.Using Fricke inventory management/forecast system, and in partnership with Automation Operator, ensures staging of raw materials to ensure efficient operation of robot. This includes retrieving drums, staging on lift and off-loading at mezzanine.Responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels in 3 bulk storage tanks, refills as needed using portable pump.Must be able to use and operate an RFK scanner. Using Fricke Inventory management system, responsible for proper inventory levels in 10 totes (aka day tanks). Bring materials to mezzanine area and pumps raw materials into totesOperates various types of material-handling equipment, such as forklift trucks, hand trucks, and drum lift, elevator, in accordance with safety rules and regulations.Maintains a clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations, and procedures, understanding the hazards that are associated with the job duties, to include chemicals and power operated vehicles. Non-essential Responsibilities and Functions:Trains new Material Handlers and helps other Material handlers.Participates in year end physical inventory.
