Job Description
Job Title: Software Developer V Duration: 3 Months – most likely to extend Locations: Hybrid – WA: Bellevue, Redmond, or Seattle. Summary: The main function of a Developer is to design, develop, and implement applications using general languages and technologies (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML) to support business requirements. Top 3 must-have HARD skills: Deep experience in developing software tools delivered via the web (experience in Meta environment is a big plus) and proficiency in programming languages - JavaScript, Hack. Desire to work in a first-generation software tool that carries ambiguity. Understanding user-centered design principles and how to create user-friendly interfaces is crucial for frontend development. Good to have skills: Prior examples of problem solving, breaking down complex problems into smaller parts. Understanding how to design software systems, including knowledge of architectural patterns and best practices. Understanding automated builds and deployments. Job Responsibilities: Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications. Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts. Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution. Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. Development experience in needed language or technology (e.g. - C#, C++, HTML) Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end. Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC. Interview Process: 3 Rounds: technical, manager screening, and behavioral.
