Job Description

Position Title: Operational Readiness Admin / Operational Readiness Specialist Number of Openings: 2 Target Start Date: March 16th Contract / Contract-to-Hire / Permanent: Permanent (Direct Hire) Location: Remote Work Schedule: Monday–Friday Employment Type: Full-Time Reason for Opening: New headcount to support growth and operational maturity within the Large Financial Institution (LFI) space Fully remote role with national hiring flexibility Opportunity to build and influence a growing operational readiness framework High visibility and cross-functional impact Focus on resilience, scalability, and operational excellence Competitive base salary with potential additional incentives and benefits Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute operational readiness plans, checklists, and transition frameworks Lead readiness assessments to confirm operational, system, and documentation readiness prior to go-live Coordinate readiness gates, stakeholder approvals, and post-implementation reviews Partner cross-functionally with operations, business units, SRE, and project teams Identify operational risks, gaps, and dependencies; develop and track mitigation strategies Support issue resolution and post-launch stabilization efforts Ensure SOPs, workflows, contingency plans, and operational procedures are completed and approved Coordinate training, competency validation, and resource readiness Ensure complete documentation handoff to operational teams Develop and track readiness KPIs; provide leadership reporting Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Must-Have Requirements Core Skills / Experience: Operational readiness, operational support, or systems support experience Risk identification and mitigation Cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management Process, documentation, and workflow development Strong communication and organizational skills Years of Experience: Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma / GED + 6 years of relevant experience Nice to Have's 3+ years in operations, project coordination, commissioning, or process improvement Familiarity with change management and service introduction principles Exposure to project management methodologies Experience in complex or regulated environments Work Samples / Certifications / Assessments Required Industry-specific certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, PMP) are beneficial (Nice to have) No formal assessments noted Target Backgrounds Ideal Backgrounds: Financial services, banking, or large enterprise environments Operations, systems support, analytics, or operational risk Candidates who thrive in fast-paced, change-driven organizations Backgrounds to Avoid: Nothing specific Applicant Notices & Disclaimers For information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location-specific applicant notices, click here At SPECTRAFORCE, we are committed to maintaining a workplace that ensures fair compensation and wage transparency in adherence with all applicable state and local laws.
