Job Title: Test Lead

Role Overview

The Test Lead is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing the testing activities of a project. They lead the QA team, ensure quality standards are met, and coordinate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and define the test strategy
• Create and review test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Assign tasks to QA team members and track progress
• Ensure timely execution of functional, regression, and UAT testing
• Identify risks and escalate issues to stakeholders
• Review and approve defect reports and test metrics
• Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects
• Ensure test deliverables meet quality standards
• Support release activities and sign-off readiness

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in Manual Testing
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Defect tracking tools: Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps
• Test management tools: TestRail, Zephyr (good to have)
• Good communication and leadership skills

Experience & Qualification

• 5–8 years of experience in Software Testing
• Experience leading a QA team
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
