Position Title : Research Associate Work Location : South San Francisco, CA, 94080 Assignment Duration : 12 months Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: • The Research Associate supports and executes nonclinical bioanalytical activities to generate high-quality, reliable data in GLP and non-GLP environments. • This role encompasses sample processing, assay execution, data analysis, documentation, and training of other analysts in support of nonclinical research and development programs. Key Responsibilities: • Nonclinical bioanalytical activities in GLP and non-GLP environments. • Extract protein, DNA, and/or RNA from necropsied animal tissue • Run ddPCR, qPCR, ELISA, MSD, Western blot, and related analyses on tissue extracts • Perform nonclinical sample analysis • Support efforts toward automated liquid handling and data analysis • Support drafting and maintenance of analysis plans and SOPs • Data analysis, compilation, and QC • Train and support other analysts on bioanalytical methods, workflows, and best laboratory practices Qualification & Experience: • BS in Biology or related field (MS preferred) • Hands-on experience with qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, or MSD • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a bioanalytical, molecular biology, or related laboratory setting • Experience following SOPs and study documentation • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work • Experience supporting GLP toxicology or IND-enabling studies • Experience with automated liquid handling systems and assay automation • Experience with LIMS/ELN systems and electronic data workflows • Experience in gene therapy, biologics, or biomarker analysis Applicant Notices & Disclaimers For information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location-specific applicant notices, click here At SPECTRAFORCE, we are committed to maintaining a workplace that ensures fair compensation and wage transparency in adherence with all applicable state and local laws.
