Job Summary:

The Sales Representative in the healthcare industry is responsible for promoting and selling medical products, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare services to hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, and pharmacies. The role involves understanding customer needs, providing product education, building relationships, and achieving sales targets while adhering to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new client opportunities in the healthcare sector.
  • Promote and sell healthcare products, medical devices, or pharmaceutical solutions.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics.
  • Provide product demonstrations, answer client queries, and offer solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain regular follow-up and ensure client satisfaction.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and client requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams for continuous improvement.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and deals in CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.

Collaboration & Training

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure smooth client service.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and industry practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–5 years in healthcare sales, pharmaceutical sales, or medical devices sales preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • CRM software (Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to understand and meet client needs.
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven mindset.
