Job Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects from initiation to completion. This role requires close collaboration with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in overall project planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Monitor daily project operations and progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for material procurement and work scheduling.
• Review project designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist in preparing project reports, progress updates, and documentation for internal and client review.
• Support the Project Manager in managing project budgets, cost tracking, and financial documentation.
• Assist in identifying risks, resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
• Attend site meetings, client meetings, and inspections as required.
• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including work logs, materials, and labor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction project management or site engineering.
• Familiarity with construction methods, building codes, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
