Preparation of microbiological media utilizing aseptic technique and good documentation practices.

Environmental monitoring of laboratories and temperature controlled chambers

Culturing of micro-organisms used for microbiological assays

Conducting antimicrobial effectiveness testing of vision care products

Gram stain and identification of micro-organisms

Ability to understand and follow SOPs

Experience using advanced features of Excel and Word

This is an active job that requires the candidate to be working at the lab bench for most of the day. The candidate must be able to routinely lift 40lbs.
