Job Title: Neurologist
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Neurologist to diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and stay current with advancements in neurological medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, migraines, dementia, and neuromuscular disorders
- Conduct patient evaluations, medical histories, and neurological examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (EEG, EMG, MRI, CT scans, lumbar punctures)
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Collaborate with other physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Stay updated with medical research, best practices, and clinical guidelines
- Experience 2-6 years
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completed residency in Neurology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Valid medical license to practice in [state/country]
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in a neurology subspecialty (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular, neurocritical care)
- Experience in hospital and/or outpatient settings
- Research or teaching experience
