### Overview

Join Reality Labs at Leoforce as a Contingent Worker and play a pivotal role in advancing AR/VR technology. As a Test Engineer, you will operate a state-of-the-art laboratory, generate critical data for next-generation systems, and collaborate with leading experts in the field.

### Core Responsibilities

- Manage the operation of a 3D Depth Sensing Characterization Laboratory, executing comprehensive test plans utilizing robotic test automation for AR/VR components (including projectors, cameras, sensors, and optics).

- Set up, monitor, and maintain lab equipment for AR/VR device testing, ensuring accurate and efficient data gathering.

- Process and interpret experimental results using statistical methods and tools to derive actionable insights.

- Use CAD tools (SolidWorks) for designing lab setups and custom parts for 3D printing and machining.

- Write scripts and code (Python, C++, etc.) to automate data collection and analysis.

- Engage in effective collaboration and communication within a cross-functional team environment.

### Must-Have Skills

- Demonstrated proficiency in Python and C++.

- Practical experience with SolidWorks for designing parts for 3D printing and machining.

- Direct laboratory experience in device control, tooling development, experiment execution, and statistical data analysis.

- Strong background in developing tooling and running experiments.

### Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with computer vision tools and camera systems.

- Familiarity with Lidar mapping systems.

- Background in AR/VR projects or camera companies.

- Experience in physics or engineering environments.

### Educational Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Optical Sciences, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline required.

- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience strongly preferred.

- Experimental background is essential.

- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in laboratory environments and AR/VR or related fields.
