Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Postpartum Care to join our team in Texas City, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being during the recovery period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of postpartum mothers, including physical and mental health evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for postpartum recovery.
- Provide education and counseling on breastfeeding, newborn care, and maternal health.
- Monitor for complications such as infections, postpartum depression, and other health concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas.
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
- Certification in Women’s Health, Family Practice, or related specialty preferred.
- Must have Minimum of 2 years’ experience in postpartum or women’s health care.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
