Kelly Science is seeking an Animal Care Technician

Pay:

Animal Care Technician

Shift options:

             Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-4pm or 8:00am-4:30pm

             Sunday – Thursday 7:30am-4pm or 8:00am-4:30pm

Employment Type: Full Time; Temp-to-hire

Summary:

             You will be responsible for the daily operational maintenance of the animal facilities and in providing proper daily husbandry to various laboratory animals in accordance with training, guidelines, regulations and SOPs.

Job Duties Include:

• Perform daily maintenance of animal facilities which include sanitation of the animal rooms, corridors, and equipment.
• Provide and ensure optimal vivarium service support to the site operations in vivo research (client) community. (Animal Care Technician II)
• Provide daily animal husbandry to predominately rodents.
• Perform consumable supplies inventory management, ordering/receipt of incoming animals and supplies.
• Maintain proper quality control documents for relevant husbandry tasks and facility equipment.
• Perform and/or provide collaborative support for cage wash operations as needed.

Qualifications:

Animal Care Technician 

• High School Diploma
• 0-3 years of experience working within care for laboratory animals
• AALAS-ALAT preferred
