We are currently looking for an Audit Senior who shares our ambition to humanize accounting. Howard wants to hire a thoughtful leader interested in expanding their knowledge of auditing by preparing challenging testing sections while assisting staff with questions and training.

Your Day to Day:
- Assume leadership and planning responsibilities with client engagements
- Ensure engagement efficiency, displaying a mastery of time management and organizational skills
- Develop and participate in technical training for staff members
- Prepare the planning, risk, concluding, and report package for engagements when assigned
- Supervise and review work of staff on engagements when assigned
- Represent the firm in various environments
- Utilize CCH Axcess, Suralink, CaseWare, and other tools on a frequent basis
- Communicate review points with team members
- Assist clients and ensure engagement efficiency with internal/external follow up
- Communicate adjusting journal entries and audit results to client
What YOU Can Bring to Howard:
- 3-6 years of Public Accounting experience is ideal
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Demonstrate ability to think creatively, deliberate clearly, move decisively, and show adaptability when faced with roadblocks
- Know how to ask for help when needed, but take initiative when opportunities arise
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
