Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI to transform raw data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will analyze complex datasets, create interactive dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Write and optimize DAX calculations and measures
• Build and manage data models for reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Translate business needs into actionable insights and visualizations
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decisions
• Automate reports and improve reporting efficiency
• Document data processes, models, and reporting standards

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
• Solid understanding of SQL for data extraction and analysis
• Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and data quality best practices

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Excel (advanced formulas, Power Pivot)
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Familiarity with Azure, Snowflake, or other cloud platforms
• Understanding of ETL processes
• Experience with business domains such as finance, sales, or operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or BI role (adjustable by seniority)
• Power BI certification (PL-300) is a plus
