The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and executing large-scale infrastructure projects in California.**Key Responsibilities:**- Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of highways, roads, and railway infrastructure.- Prepare engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates for heavy civil projects.- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure quality and safety standards are met.- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation.**Qualifications:**- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is highly desirable.- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil engineering, with a focus on highways, roads, and/or railway construction.- Strong knowledge of California state and federal transportation regulations and standards.- Proficiency in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.**Preferred Experience:**- Direct involvement in large-scale highway, road, or railway projects in California.- Experience working with Caltrans or similar agencies.- Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations related to civil infrastructure.**Benefits:**- Competitive compensation and benefits package.- Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.- Collaborative and innovative work environment.- Flexible work arrangements and employee support programs.Leoforce is an equal opportunity employer.
