Role: UI/UX Designer
Duration: 3 months (Project based, no chance of extension or conversion)
Location: Fully remote – Must work PST hours (8am-5pm)
Interview Process: 1-2 rounds via Zoom.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with designing systems and style guides.
- A portfolio demonstrating interface design, visual design, prototyping, articulation of design rationale, strong communication and storytelling skills.
Other Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to take a leadership role in projects that span multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of interface design paradigms and best practices across a variety of platforms including web, responsive web, and native mobile. Experienced creating highly detailed design specifications.
- Ability to deliver on time to a high quality, working in a fast paced agile environment.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized. Has a desire for pushing the boundaries of enterprise software design with modern, emerging UI patterns and implementation technologies.
- Ability to explore multiple creative design directions to create engaging and effective visual designs.
- Applies the best user interface design ideas of the consumer web to business applications.
- Uses creativity, design systems, visual communication and follows a user centered design process.
- Ability to add to and utilize existing design systems when creating flows.
- Experienced with inclusive design best practices, Accessibility Design and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
- Ability to create detailed prototypes in tools like Figma, Principle, or Framer.
- A passion for all types of visual design including User Interface, Graphic Design, Illustrations, Typography and Iconography.
- Strong motion graphics and animation skills are a plus.
