**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Analyst IV to join our Legal Operations team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in deep financial analysis, particularly within legal or operational spend environments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct in-depth analysis of project-level Legal department spend using advanced Excel and Power BI techniques.

- Design and implement reporting structures and KPIs for operational spend.

- Collaborate closely with Legal Operations teams and attorneys to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.

- Present complex financial data and analysis in a clear, nuanced manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Participate in regular meetings with internal clients to discuss findings and support decision-making.

**Technology Requirements:**

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

- Familiarity with PowerApps is a plus.

**Preferred Background:**

- Strong background in Accounting, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), and data analysis.

- Prior experience working with legal spend or within a Legal Operations environment is highly desirable.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

- Minimum 7 years of relevant financial analysis experience.

- Exceptional analytical and technical skills.

- Excellent English-language communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys and senior stakeholders.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Work Environment:**

- Remote role with the expectation to support Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.
