Job Title: Dentist (General)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to diagnose, treat, and help prevent oral health issues in patients of all ages. The Dentist will perform dental procedures, educate patients on oral hygiene, and ensure high standards of patient care in a safe and professional clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and oral tissues to diagnose dental conditions
• Perform preventive, restorative, and therapeutic dental procedures
• Interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Administer local anesthesia and prescribe medications when necessary
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Supervise dental hygienists, assistants, and support staff as needed
• Stay current with advancements in dentistry and continuing education requirements

• Dental examinations and cleanings
• Fillings, crowns, bridges, and restorations
• Root canal therapy
• Tooth extractions
• Preventive treatments (sealants, fluoride)
• Cosmetic procedures (whitening, veneers – if applicable)

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
• Valid state dental license
• Proven clinical experience preferred (new graduates may apply)
• Knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and best practices
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
