Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with experience in the automotive industry to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes for automotive components and systems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production, process optimization, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes for automotive components and assemblies.
- Analyze production workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical solutions to optimize output.
- Conduct time studies, process simulations, and capacity planning for production lines.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Automotive Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive industry
- Strong understanding of automotive production processes, assembly lines, and quality standards.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CATIA, SolidWorks) and manufacturing software.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing or advanced automotive technologies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or relevant industry certifications.
- Knowledge of supply chain, material flow, and production planning in automotive manufacturing.
