Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software systems. They also mentor junior engineers, review code, and help drive technical decisions within the development team.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
- Lead architecture and technical design discussions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes
- Ensure software security and best engineering practices
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Expertise in at least one major programming language
(e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Go, C#) - Experience with system design and distributed systems
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience with Git and version control systems
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
- Experience with scalable system architecture
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
